About Riley's Candles

Riley's Candles was founded in 2017 in Traverse City, Michigan — in honor of Riley, a rescue beagle who survived four paralysis episodes and three back surgeries, and whose story became the reason this company exists.

We are a candle company with a mission: no dog should die because their family can't afford to save them.

How It Works

Every candle sold funds emergency veterinary care for dogs whose families can't cover the cost. No bureaucracy. No six-month application process. A family calls. We answer. The dog goes into surgery.

Since 2022, we've helped save more than 100 dogs. 85% of the families we've helped have become ongoing donors — because once you see it work, you can't stop.

Where We Are

Traverse City, Michigan. Northern Michigan's dog-friendly, lake-obsessed, community-first town. We're proud members of Traverse Connect and rooted in the place that shaped us.
